This Kutnu hand-woven cotton Ikat blend wrap is from Gaziantep. This weaving technique is traditional in this part of Turkey. These beautiful pieces have been creatively adorned with Oya, a centuries old lace technique which uses a tiny straight needle to make even
tinier loops and knots and as the knots are tightened the stitches also
grow smaller.
