The Riviera carryall bag is derived from the 1930's heyday of the French Riviera when these similar striped bags with amazing stitching were de rigueur for the smart set! Today these are handmade in remote Southern India in collaboration with a fair-trade non-profit society set up to provide opportunities to widows and economically challenged women.
